Our Garden Design Consultancy is designed for homeowners who would benefit from professional garden design advice, but whose project does not currently require a full design package.

It is not a substitute for a fully designed garden.

Instead, the consultancy gives you the opportunity to discuss your garden with an experienced designer, understand its potential, identify the main priorities, and make informed decisions about where to focus your time and budget.

Where a garden requires a comprehensive redesign, detailed layout development, planting design or construction information, our Full Garden Design Service will be the more appropriate route.

 

 

 

When Is Consultancy the Right Approach?

The consultancy is most useful when you need professional advice before committing to contractors, materials or major changes.

It can help you understand what is realistically achievable, identify which areas of the garden should be prioritised, and decide whether the project can be improved through targeted changes or would benefit from a full design.

The purpose is to help you make better decisions — not to provide a cut-down version of a full garden design.

Best suited to projects where professional advice and prioritisation are needed, but detailed design drawings are not. The consultancy provides guidance and recommendations only.

Recommended where you want Black Robin to fully resolve the design of your garden, developing the layout, materials and planting into a cohesive scheme supported by the detailed information required for implementation.

If we believe your project would be better served by the Full Garden Design Service, we will advise you accordingly.
